Pet Hotels are simply more extravagent kennels or boarding houses offering extra pet grooming and comfort for your animals. The idea is mainly apparent in America although there are one or two 'upper class' kennels found in the UK as well. If you feel you dog deserves a treat while you leave them for a week, or you would like your pet to recieve the same class treatment you give it yourself then a Pet Hotel is probably a more likely ooption.
Among the extra services offered are extra grooming. In a normal kennels your pet will recieve very good treatment including brushes and care and attention because the people who work there generally like to be around animals. However, at a 'Pet Hotel' you can pay extra for your pet to have a full manicure and pedicure, where their nails would be filed and trimmed then painted to the colour of your choice.
If you feel your pets hair is a little too long you can also pay a little extra to have the grooming employees of the Pet Hotel cut and style your pets fur to the way you want it, or on their professional advice, the way they feel would suit your pet.
Another aspect of a Pet Hotel is the general comfort of your pet. Normal kennels and boarding houses do cater for pets very well and mostly offer warm, comfortable inside space and an area for the pet to run around in. However, in a Pet Hotel your pet will have the most luxury a pet can be given. Comfortable pillows are supplemented by settees to sit on and ample space to run around just outside the indoor section of their enclosure. Some Pet Hotels even allow the dogs free roam of an area emcompassing the place they are staying. For example, some Pet Hotels are merely farm house with a lot of land that let your pets wonder around as they see fit and they are taken on extensive walks throughout the countryside.
